Trading Notes:
Markets went way up at the news of the job loss stats. From the way the markets have been generally running sideways all week this is the breakout that was waiting to happen. Either you went LONG or you didn't. Had a big payout--half my gains for the day--from one such trade that I held onto longer than usual. Nice payout for the timing. Even though I'm not a big fan of these "1 Shot 1 Kill" trading days sometimes it'll work in your favor. And if it doesn't? Could be weeks before it comes around again. Not a pretty picture if that happens. Since I Made my projected goal decided to end the day early @10:30am way ahead of the game. Closed UP $1,245 or +12.45%.
