An amazing thing seems to take place when I really nail a trade. The accuracy is pretty unbelievable and mostly unintentional but worth checking it--which I got on video. I entered 1 Contract by SHORTING FOREX FUTURES. Made $862 with that 1 trade and the amazing part of it was once again what happened with my Take Profit. Pay close attention to the last few seconds of the video as the Take Profit is literally just nicked before the Market took the upswing again.
Besides FX FUTURES the DOW rose tremendously today but no recoil. Whether it continues gaining ground or not is basically anyone's guess at this point. [Still watching for a rebound as of this writing on 3/11 @10pm--Will keep watch on how that develops].

4am. Couldn't sleep due to the +1hr daylight savings change today. Decided to see what the markets were up to and spotted a great entry to short the S&P. It was one of those rare moments: The Market just dropped like a stone. 22-minutes later I was +$422 and happy as a bug. Needless to say I slept like a baby after that.
Rest of the day was what I call "Extreme Profits" which is any trade that makes $100+ or lasts more than 10 minutes. The targets I was shooting for had 30-minute projections so I let them run until they were filled. Not too hard to do with today's volatility if you know what direction the markets going to take that hour. Other than the complete insanity of today's market swings? Nothing unusual.

Really--it didn't take a genius to know which direction the markets were going after the jobless claims announcement of 8.1% hit this morning. The question was when would they recoil? Big surge upward & caught the tail-end to my projected target, which, coincidentally, just like last Friday's Trading Week Closing--my target was hit on approximately 4:15pm: The last minute of the Trading Week. That makes 2 weeks in a row now. Last week it was the DOW, this week it was the Nasdaq. Damn if I don't get that many strikes bowling. But it begs the Question: Does lightening strike twice? Started the day negative[-225] and even though it wasn't much it was all about damage control until I climbed back into positive territory. Not an easy task with these iffy markets changing direction every 5 minutes or so. Was shooting for 5% at best but left it at what I got, adhering to my Number 1 Rule: Only take what the markets are willing to give. Why be greedy? Live to fight another day. Hopefully the markets will be less choppy sailing tomorrow. Closed the Day UP $370 or +3.70%.

That Groundhog was right--1 ft more of snow won't make much of a difference around here anyways. Busy,busy day with many,many trades. Pushed my trading to the limit. Since there was no real news to stir things up the entries were as clear as these markets will get. No sudden spikes in the markets I was trading--great entries & pretty much a "Perfect day for sailing". Haven't been expecting days like these but I'm all for more of the same anytime. Closed the Day UP $1,805 or +18.05%.

Made the bulk of my profits this morning while riding the downtrend on the DOW. Fought--but mostly yanked--the latter half of profits from the YEN during the afternoon session. Not fun when the markets aren't cooperating. Should have stopped once I reached my 10% goal but didn't get beaten back that bad.
Had loads of fun "producing" the video yesterday using The Matrix theme. Took about 6hrs to whip that together but hey, What else is there to do on a snowy Sunday afternoon in the middle of winter? Ans:Stay warm. Was tedious work but fun. Closed the day UP +$922.50 or 9.22%.

Today was just spectacular. And what a way to end the month. First thing I have to say about today's session was that I stuck to my #1 Rule: Trade with the trend and don't deviate no matter what. Once a strong trend is chosen it's very easy to get pulled in the other direction for some very quick profits on the retracements. This happened several times today but I stuck to my guns and rode the designated trend all the way to the bitter end--literally until the last seconds of the trading day. Video should be up by tomorrow. Closed the day UP $2,427 OR +24.27%.
P.S: A Big Thanks to all of you that have emailed positive comments about the BLOG it's very encouraging. Also more updates to come on the managed accounts next week.

Caught the rebound then pull-back in the late afternoon session. Sweet. Very safe trading positions. Knew I wasn't going to make my 10% goal but no worries. Trade modestly and you'll "Live To Trade Another Day".
I was scouting around some old Forex sites today to see what's going on in that area. "Not good" is the diagnosis and, "I don't think he's gonna make it, Doctor" is the verdict. A lot of the websites that were boasting big returns from 10%-40%/month are either negative consecutively, phone# disconnected or they simply vanished. Doesn't surprise me. What's happening in the markets right now reminds me of a comic scene you'd see in old B&W Westerns: It's where 2 big Galoots grab some puny pion by the ankles, tip him upside-down and shake him out of everything he's got on him. The Markets are the "Galoots" doing the "BIG SHAKEDOWN" nowadays. So with so many traders losing client's money nowadays why are these people still with them? They are either locked in or don't think there's anything better out there. One question: Have you seen my trading video? Those trades were done back-to-back with not one losing trade in that session. Most trades are very brief, between 2-5mins ea. After you see the video let me know if you still think there's nothing better out there. If you find something else please let me know. I'm open for suggestions. MORE videos to come btw. But as for techno-analysis I won't go there. Don't need to prove myself. Actions not words, people.
What everyone seems to be forgetting here is that TRADING = MAKING MONEY. Why do people trade? TO MAKE MONEY. Some traders are using the "Capital Preservation" card. If you are losing money at the end of the month is that "Capital Preservation"? Hardly NOT. I sincerely apologise if I can't dassle crowds with Line Graphs,Fibonacci,yadda,yadda--They all look so pretty and important that it's getting to be that anyone who puts a video on YouTube with the most graphs = The Biggest Guru out there. The big question I have right now for all those techno-analysis gurus is this: You can TALK THE TALK...BUT CAN YOU WALK THE WALK? Show me the money. Technically: Looks good. Maybe? I'm hard to convince. Show me some profits then I'll believe you. Not after-the-fact analysis either. Dumb magic tricks belong in a circus. Analysis is speculatory if anything. What it comes down to is MAKING A PROFIT. End of story. I'll cut to the chase: If your trader/broker isn't making you money = he's losing your money. You'd be better off keeping your money in a mattress out of harms way. How much money do people have to lose to figure out they're with a losing trader? Volatility is back baby. It's a MAD,MAD,MAD,MAD MARKET and you can seriously get hurt out there if you don't know what you're doing or have a great trading system in place. Best trading day in a long time for us. It was like the pressure in the Markets were building up all week--volatility was way down for days--and suddenly the dam burst wide open. It's amazing what a little volatility can do. We're talking maximum overdrive here like what we were seeing on a daily basis in Oct '08. I had decided I was going to get some more trades recorded for a week now and I couldn't have picked a better day for it. Conditions were perfect and The WUNDERKING Trading System was in top form. ICE LAKE
ICE LAKE 02/15/09
Love to venture out onto the lakes sometimes during the winter. Especially at sundown. Very surreal and enchanting. Some Lakes are still solid around here but won't be much longer as long as the temperature cooperates since I'd like to believe I've survived yet another brutal New England winter.
Very busy weekend & not enough time to write about my trading style. I will have time this week and post it within a few days. Stay tuned..

Trading Notes:
Friday the 13th. The first thing I was greeted with when I turned on the t.v. this morning were images of the commercial jet crash,Flight 3407 out of NYC which crashed just outside of its Buffalo,NY destination. All 49 passengers were killed with 1 ground fatality. That's 2 headline-news crashes within a 1 month period. The other being the plane that crash-landed on the Hudson River in NYC on Jan 15th[no fatalities except for the birds that got sucked into the engines]. Found this site www.planecrashinfo.com that keeps a tally on all the plane & helecopter crashes around the world. Somehow I wish I hadn't seen that. Doesn't actually do much to bolster my level of confidence in flying. My thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims of Flight 3407.
After a slow morning my trading only started picking up during the afternoon part of the session. All markets have been showing total indecision all week due to ongoing bailout news which makes seeing possible trends all the more difficult. Was able to finally get a good ride on the DOW and overall was able to pull off a decent day of returns just shy of my projected goal of 10%/day. That was good enough for me considering that chaos seemed to reign in the markets the majority of the time. Certainly it was if anything a trial by fire week for traders of any market. To keep my risk at a bare-bones minimum I traded only 1 contract at a time which is my usual rule-of-thumb in troubled markets like these. It is absolutely essential to keep trading risk at the lowest possible level but in such crazy volatile times like these sometimes just entering the market is a risk in itself. But after a very hectic week I feel like we've passed through the roughest part of this turbulent time...for the moment anyway. Tomorrow I'll provide some insights on my trading style and what makes the WUNDERKING.NET Trading System a Unique & Winning system in today's trading market. Should be good. With all the bailout news, congressional hearings,etc the markets will be in total unpredictability mode. And who will bring stability to the force? Obama-Wan-Kenobi that's who. Seems like he's our only hope. Reaching my goal today was a task more difficult than defeating Lord Vadar himself. I can't say the force is strong with me but, yeah--it helps. Closed the day UP $1,009 or 10.09%.

Trading Notes:
Markets went way up at the news of the job loss stats. From the way the markets have been generally running sideways all week this is the breakout that was waiting to happen. Either you went LONG or you didn't. Had a big payout--half my gains for the day--from one such trade that I held onto longer than usual. Nice payout for the timing. Even though I'm not a big fan of these "1 Shot 1 Kill" trading days sometimes it'll work in your favor. And if it doesn't? Could be weeks before it comes around again. Not a pretty picture if that happens. Since I Made my projected goal decided to end the day early @10:30am way ahead of the game. Closed UP $1,245 or +12.45%.

Nothing was going to stop the markets from gaining ground today. The peak came at 1:30pm and started to deflate from there but no "Yo-Yo" effect like yesterday. Markets have found a middle ground at the moment and have been holding steady since Monday. Here's the week so far:
When all is said and done we're pretty much Even Steven at the moment. Closed the day UP $1,688 or +16.88%.
