Trading Notes:
An amazing thing seems to take place when I really nail a trade. The accuracy is pretty unbelievable and mostly unintentional but worth checking it--which I got on video. I entered 1 Contract by SHORTING FOREX FUTURES. Made $862 with that 1 trade and the amazing part of it was once again what happened with my Take Profit. Pay close attention to the last few seconds of the video as the Take Profit is literally just nicked before the Market took the upswing again.

Besides FX FUTURES the DOW rose tremendously today but no recoil. Whether it continues gaining ground or not is basically anyone's guess at this point. [Still watching for a rebound as of this writing on 3/11 @10pm--Will keep watch on how that develops].

4am. Couldn't sleep due to the +1hr daylight savings change today. Decided to see what the markets were up to and spotted a great entry to short the S&P. It was one of those rare moments: The Market just dropped like a stone. 22-minutes later I was +$422 and happy as a bug. Needless to say I slept like a baby after that.

Rest of the day was what I call "Extreme Profits" which is any trade that makes $100+ or lasts more than 10 minutes. The targets I was shooting for had 30-minute projections so I let them run until they were filled. Not too hard to do with today's volatility if you know what direction the markets going to take that hour. Other than the complete insanity of today's market swings? Nothing unusual.

Really--it didn't take a genius to know which direction the markets were going after the jobless claims announcement of 8.1% hit this morning. The question was when would they recoil? I started to see a trend-reversal around 2pm but still just bouncing around the lows until...2:30..2:45..3:00..3:30..3:53pm ..BAM! Big surge upward & caught the tail-end to my projected target, which, coincidentally, just like last Friday's Trading Week Closing--my target was hit on approximately 4:15pm: The last minute of the Trading Week. That makes 2 weeks in a row now. Last week it was the DOW, this week it was the Nasdaq. Damn if I don't get that many strikes bowling. But it begs the Question: Does lightening strike twice? Started the day negative[-225] and even though it wasn't much it was all about damage control until I climbed back into positive territory. Not an easy task with these iffy markets changing direction every 5 minutes or so. Was shooting for 5% at best but left it at what I got, adhering to my Number 1 Rule: Only take what the markets are willing to give. Why be greedy? Live to fight another day. Trading Notes:
Made the bulk of my profits this morning while riding the downtrend on the DOW. Fought--but mostly yanked--the latter half of profits from the YEN during the afternoon session. Not fun when the markets aren't cooperating. Should have stopped once I reached my 10% goal but didn't get beaten back that bad.
Had loads of fun "producing" the video yesterday using The Matrix theme. Took about 6hrs to whip that together but hey, What else is there to do on a snowy Sunday afternoon in the middle of winter? Ans:Stay warm. Was tedious work but fun. Closed the day UP +$922.50 or 9.22%.
